A TEM service engineer must be present at the time of installation of a TAC100 Series Liquid Nitrogen Anti-contaminator. It may be necessary to open the TEM column and, in some cases, the standard TEM anti-contaminator may need to be modified. Use of the twin blade or cylindrical anti-contaminator design is dependant upon the TEM manufacturer, model, pole piece gap, and the presence of in-gap accessories.
