HC3500 Single Tilt Heating and Cooling Holder

The HC3500 Single Tilt Heating and Cooling Holder is a multi-functional materials characterisation holder for TEM, providing heating, nitrogen cooling and electrical connections to the specimen area.

Key Features
Long hold time

Light weight, low loss liquid nitrogen dewar provides hold time of four hours
Electrical connections

Up to four electrical feeds to the specimen area
Temperature operating range

Liquid nitrogen cooled to -150 ºC with heating up to +250 ºC using digital temperature controller
Specimen securing mechanism

Clamping ring screws into the specimen cradle to maintain excellent thermal contact between the specimen holder and the specimen grid
System package

Includes temperature controller, protective sleeve with pump-out fitting, pump-out tool, holder loading stand, clamping rings and clamping ring tools
Tilt ranges and compatibility of specimen holders vary according to the TEM manufacturer, model, pole piece gap, and the presence of in-gap accessories. Please contact your local Gatan representative for more information.
